Surprisingly spacious inside! Use it to pack lunch for a super-picky six year old, who insists that each food go into its own sealed container. So convenient, I love not having to mess with ice packs that are heavy and eat up valuable space! When my son comes home, I pull out all of the empty containers, fold it up, and toss it in the freezer. Pull it out in the a.m., fill it with lunch contents, and off he goes! Used it to pack his camp lunch over the summer, and despite a long, hot bus ride, he said his food was still quite cool at lunch time. The flap that folds over the top, is not filled with insulating gel, so I was able to have his name embroidered on it. He wasn’t always careful to reseal any leftovers after lunch, so things often leaked out into the bag, but they all wiped clean, easily, with a damp cloth and short air-dry. Have only used it for one summer so far, but it was used daily and six year old are tough on their things, and it still looks brand new! Will update, if it fails within the school year, but I am confident it will hold up just fine. Wish there had been more boy-centric patterns to choose from, as even grey camo is not really my thing, but my son loves it, and his embroidered name really pops against it. I love the fact that it's freezable so it's got built in ice packs to keep things cold, and doesn't need separate ice packs which take up space. I love the clip handle, my son clips it around his backpack strap so he doesn't have to carry it. I've never had one break on me. I like the zipper (be wary that not all models have a zipper closure) so if the velcro flap were to ever somehow come undone, everything won't fall out. It also keeps things contained and keeps the coldness in. I love theseI only have to take a lunch a few days of the week, so when the day comes, I just pop the lunchbox in the freezer the night before and it stays cold in my car all day!! Super cute pattern and the fabric on outside seems pretty durable. The inside material is easily washable and spill proof.My kids use pack-its for school lunches. There are several different styles and sizes, and this one is my favorite. It’s wider at the bottom and allows to put small bowls and drink bottles in without running out of room. They keep their lunches in their lockers from 8am to noon, and the food is cold when they eat. The bags are usually still cool inside when they bring them home at 3pm. We’ve been using pack-it lunch bags for 5 or 6 years now, and wouldn’t want anything else.We love these. My husband and I have one each and our kids have a different style of PackIt. We use them on a daily basis and they keep our food cold for hours! Also extremely convenient that they fold so small to fit in the freezer.Kids loved their freezable Rtic lunch bags but after several years they were showing quite a bit of wear on the outside and were no longer sold. This was a great alternative and is an improvement because it’s so much bigger. It folds up small in the freezer but holds a full square plastic sandwich container and drink on the bottom with much more room on top. Time will tell for longevity. Perfect size for my teen and tween boys (and any adult). Perfect size for those who like to use reusable containers instead of Ziploc bags.Bought this to replace one my daughter had for years. Easy to pop into the freezer tooI bought this as a gift but have one myself and love it! I use it for my packed lunch and leave it in my cool bag in the car, in my cool bag, it stays in the car all day from 0745. I usually have my lunch at 1400, everything is cold inside. I don’t usually have my whole drink and have some around 1700 and it’s still as if it never left the fridge... in the very hot summer I added an ice pack just to make sure but the ice pack stays frozen until I get home at 1900! Just great.I ordered this because it was the brand the preschool insisted on, it’s very cute, fits neatly into the freezer over night, but I found after the 3 hours in school it was very wet on the outside and inside! Kept the teachers happy that we had it though! Others in the school seemed happy with theirs tooBought it for work but had to return it as my workplace requires see through lunch kits. It doesn’t keep food cold for long and doesn’t keep them hot at all. Overpriced, bulky and the cooking packs in the lining makes it heavy.Perfect for transporting breast milk from work to home.
